Škoda Felicia Fun Pickup, dammit 25 year import laws.
I remember seeing one at the Škoda Muzeum and thinking “that’s a neat concept car. Only to find out that they actually produced them.
Slide out rear seats are too cool.
The interior is retina scarring in the best way.
I would legit buy this if it was legal, I could afford a $2500 fun side vehicle/trucklet.

If I could, I would, but the 25 year import laws aren’t negotiable.

Find a Canuckistani oppo to store it for you for another 8 years, visit now and then to drive it, then take it home.

I should just move to Canada, it’d be less of a hassle.

I’ve seen these go for £495 before now, in still quite good condition.

I’m sure there are cheaper ones, this one looks mint though.

The cool thing about that is one can move anywhere they want, if they have enough money - Canada included. Buy those lottery tickets :)

I seem to remember an oppo buying a normal Felica pick up about a year ago - was that a thing that actually happened, and if so, what happened to it?

Eh, once I’m licensed I can move almost anywhere I want.

But probably easier just to embezzle a bit of money from kleptocratic government structures, launder it, and buy residency that way. Being a legit immigrant is no fun.

I wish I was joking :)
There’s a reason houses cost so much in Vancouver (and now some areas of Seattle), and it isn’t natural market forces.

4muddyfeet, I believe. He talked about it during the europpomeet and as far as I know still owns it. Other than that you’d have to ask him.
